COMPREHENSIVE ACCOMPANIMENT

This program area ensures that the migrant and refugee population receive comprehensive quality care from a psychosocial approach that addresses both physical and mental health, as well as the processes of social, cultural and labor insertion in the city. These program organize group activities that foster human development, guide the migratory process, help to create a life plan, offer psychological attention to stabilize and strengthen the emotional well-being of the participants, collaborate with external institutions and organizations to achieve a greater impact in the personal accompaniment of migrants and refugees.

The Comprehensive Accompaniment area are composed of two subareas:
Psychosocial Care

The  objective of the psychosocial care area is to support refugees to insert themselves in the Metropolitan Area of ​​Guadalajara, prioritizing access to education, work, physical and mental health.

Social Insertion

The objective of the Social Insertion area  is to support refugees to enter the Metropolitan Area of ​​Guadalajara, prioritizing their access to the labor market and housing, in addition to effective access to their rights in their new communities.

Bachelor of Psychology from ITESO, specialized in systemic relational family therapy. Volunteered for one year in the Sierra Tarahumara, where she was in charge of a school dormitory and participated in community activities. She has experience coordinating a university student volunteer program at ITESO with rural communities in southern Jalisco. She has been working at FM4 since August 2019, as the person in charge of psychosocial care, and since January 2020 as the coordinator of the comprehensive support area. She has four years of experience as a psychotherapist, working with individuals, couples, families, and children. She has also worked as a teacher at both the undergraduate and high school levels.

Bachelor of Psychology and Master in Social Management and Development from the University of Guadalajara. She is a teacher at the same institution. She has conducted research on youth issues. She volunteered at FM4 starting in 2018, offering psychotherapeutic care, and was also in charge of the Mental Health area. From 2019 to 2021, she was part of FM4’s Social Integration team. She was in charge of the Victim Assistance Unit for Discrimination. She has taken courses and diplomas related to education, gender, psychotherapy, and psychosocial intervention.

He studied percussion at the University of Guadalajara’s School of Music. He holds a Master’s in Education from the National Pedagogical University. He has recorded albums and traveled around the world with various groups. He coordinates the Itinerant School Conga Mandinga, offering drum workshops in neighborhoods with violence issues. As an author, he published the workbook “The Rhythm and Percussion Workshops for Life,” which systematizes good practices from 15 years of sharing rhythmic knowledge in ZMG communities.

Since 2006, he has been a volunteer mediator for the Raíz del Cielo Reading Room, part of the National Reading Rooms Program. He is a disciple of the woodpecker. Currently, he also collaborates in the Comprehensive Support area.
