LEGAL AID

It provides guidance, advice, or legal representation to migrants and refugees who wish to start an administrative migration process, apply for refugee status recognition, obtain identity documents in their home country, or file complaints with the CNDH (National Human Rights Commission) or State Commissions. It carries out advocacy work with local actors to promote the establishment of laws that contribute to building a hospitable environment for migrants and refugees from a legal standpoint.

It also contributes to the training of students and professionals through the legal clinic and group trainings to encourage a human rights perspective in their daily work related to migration and asylum issues.
