Our team is made up of an extensive group of activists, academics, students, professionals, religious affiliates, mothers and fathers. We work together with other civil society organizations, educational institutions, churches, research centers and a network of people related to the cause who contribute their resources, experience and work to create a hospitable society seeking the passage and / or insertion of the migrant or refugee to be more dignified and fair.

The Migrant and Refugee Care Center is a formative for hundreds of people who seek to transform their community.

Shift leaders are responsible for coordinating the operation of the Migrant and Refugee Care Center (CAM). They direct the volunteer teams of 6-8 people with the aim of providing respectable  and fair care in the CAM. They lead the operation of the activities within the CAM in order to promote dignified spaces for integral humanitarian attention.

In FM4 Paso Libre we think that every person, regardless of nationality, career or gender, can be part of volunteering.

Our team of volunteers are responsible for providing direct assistance to migrants and refugees. Among its tasks are receiving migrants, preparing food, giving a change of clothes, as well as perform other tasks to assist in the operation of the shelter and provide a pleasant stay for the people we serve.

Therefore, we look for people who want to have a direct and supportive relationship with migrants, who are serious in their work. We seek responsible, creative, proactive volunteers, with the spirit to build, who seek a place to learn and contribute in a horizontal and fraternal way.

Since the beginning of FM4 Paso Libre to date, we have had more than 691 volunteers from more than 15 different nationalities including: Germany, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Spain, United States, France, Guatemala, Haiti, Holland, Honduras, England, Italy, Nicaragua, Portugal and Switzerland.
