Support Program for Civil Society Organizations 2016.

Project: Improvement in the quality of the humanitarian assistance provided to migrants who transit through the ZMG.

Beneficiary: Dignidad y Justicia en el Camino, A.C.

Counterpart: Ministry of Development and Social Integration of the Government of the State of Jalisco.

Approved amount: $ 320,020.00 (three hundred twenty thousand twenty pesos 00/100).

Validity: from June 6 to December 14, 2016.

Objective of the program: Support civil society organizations in the realization of projects aimed at solving the social problems that live in our entity and promote the growth of community leaders who focus their activities towards solidarity humanism.

Goals: 900 migrant people receive a migrant kit that allows them to continue their journey in a more dignified manner.

Program for the attention to people in street situation, through strengthening and economic support to civil society organizations.

Project: Strengthening of integral humanitarian assistance in the night stay of the FM4 Migrant Care Center Paso Libre.

Approved amount: $ 320,000.00 (three hundred and twenty thousand pesos 00/100 M.N.)

Validity: from October 7 to December 31, 2016.

General objective of the program: to improve the living conditions of the populations living on the street, in three specific polygons of the municipality: 1) Historical Center, 2) Agua Azul and 3) Civil Hospital, through the progressive restitution of their rights, through the involvement of these with public, social and private organizations for a gradual process of building autonomy and / or independence.

Specific objectives of the program:

In a first stage the population is offered in the situation of the street in the polygon of the Historical Center of Guadalajara, through:

The construction of a methodology of inter-institutional involvement, adapted to the different situations of the street populations in our city.
The generation of agreements with civil society organizations that present and develop integral projects for:

– The promotion of social services: shelter of bath, bath and / or food (the services are enunciative, but not limitative).
– The channeling to public and private institutions in order to achieve the progressive restitution of their rights.

The promotion of alliances between civil society organizations, in order to offer services referred to in the previous objective.

Validity:

General objective of the program: to encourage the activities carried out by civil society organizations in Jalisco aimed, among others, at improving the quality of life of the citizens, the full exercise of human rights, participation in public policies and the access to public goods and services as well as incentives for institutional development and strengthening.

Goals: 1) Be prepared to face emergencies in the shelter; 2) delivery of migrant supplies to 1500 people; 3) ensure the quality of the food.
