Support the Shelter’s services and operations
Since 2010 FM4 Paso Libre has provided comprehensive humanitarian assistance to migrants and refugees in order to dignify their stay in the city.
The Migrant and Refugee Care Center (CAM) of FM4 Paso Libre has received more than 35 thousand people, including migrants and refugees. They have been provided with basic humanitarian services (food, personal hygiene items, clothing, space to bathe and rest, phone calls) as well as other specialized services, including medical, psychological and legal aide, that as a whole seek to dignify the conditions of their transit through Guadalajara or their residency in Mexico.
Providing quality services entails a valuable effort from people within the organization. Each month hundreds of migrants pass through the FM4. Due to the intensive use of the space and the volume of people it serves, the facilities are worn and damaged. That is why the maintenance and repairs within our shelter are a constant need of maintenance by professionals to continue the integral support and qualities services to provide a quality space for the migrants and refugees.
It should be noted that the CAM is not only a space in which comprehensive humanitarian attention is provided to migrants and refugees, it also serves as a hospital space in which hundreds of volunteers and allies of the organization promote the values of interculturality, respect and solidarity.
